Hi everyone!
I'm looking for some old dos games that I used to play back in the 90's, and was wondering if anyone knew of any places where I might find them. A few favorite titles which I remember are destination mars, run for president, sounds like, and dodge city desperados. If anyone knows where these or any other dos games can be found, please let me know. Thanks!

I unfortunately have XP. I've played Jim's windows version of the trucker game quite a lot. Still haven't managed to win yet. Lol! Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try google.

I have copies of adventure, zork1, zork2 and zork3. If you'd like a copy of any of these send me a private message.

Sorry, I don't remember where I found them, but I think I gleaned the ones that would work with speech.

These games are dos games but work fine with xp professional, and I suspect would work fine with the home edition of xp. No idea about vista.

Try the following:

For a current list of good web sites where you might find DOS games, you might also check out:

There's a good abandonware site where you can find a lot of previously commercially available dos games. The site is called Home of the Underdogs and the URL is:
http://www.the-underdogs.info

Note that when you select a file for download, you will be asked to do one of those annoying picture verification things. Never fear though because the people running the site were made aware of the plight of the blind a few years back. So, whenever you encounter a word verification, just enter the word "audys" without the quotes, and your download will proceed.
